Simon's Cat in 'The Box'

What do you do with a box? Simon intended to put some books in it. He put a box down on the floor and walked off to grab some books, while his cat became curious about it. In this animation, Simon's cat jumped in and out of the box, played with it, and at the end flattened it, un-boxing the box. Very clever or not so clever cat.

Using finger nails as canvas, create beautiful art on them. We are all creative beings. We can express ourselves in everything we do and wear. It's how we share with others our inspirations and ideas. For the summer, Cutepolish demonstrates her approach to painting palm trees on finger nails. They are perfect for the breezy, beachy California weather. Be inspired. Paint away.

Through music, song, and passion, we are universally connected. A young woman sang while a man played the guitar next to her in the corner of a room. They had written the song together a year ago, but it's still relevant to her. We could feel it as she sang, so casually, freely, and beautifully. She exuded love and warmth. It's joyous!

How To Be Alone

| No Comments | No TrackBacks
Beautifully written and performed by Tanya Davis, this artistic video explores the human condition of aloneness, the way we deal with it, can't deal with it, and are at peace with it.  It's about our quest for solitude, companionship, peace, and joy.  Until we know how to be whole with ourselves, happiness eludes us.  Aloneness is not loneliness.  It is what we make of it.  Create, love ourselves, enjoy our time with ourselves.  Cherish our aloneness. We'll be stronger for it.  From a place of peace and solitude, we can be alone and be happy.  Rejoice in life!

Enrique Iglesias heated up the stage of "So You Think You Can Dance" when he performed his his hit song, "I Like It," with Pitbull. He brought the dance party as dancers from "So You Think You Can Dance" performed alongside him. He's as sexy and compelling as ever to watch. Hot, hot, hot!

Lady Gaga performs her new song "You and I" on "The Today Show," to a huge crowd at the Rockefeller Plaza in New York.  She talks to the hosts about her fame and inspirations.  She's simply amazing.

Welcome to summer time in California where the girls are pretty and the sun shines brightly. Katy Perry champions California girls in her song, "California Gurls", by capturing our spunky, fun-loving nature. It's a make-believe candyland. We participate in it and perpetuate it. We make it our reality. Make a splash, make love, and make this summer one to remember. Katy Perry rocks!

Everything we surround ourselves with says something about us. One woman answered 25 random questions and in process revealed much about her taste, thoughts, and interests. As I listened to her, I found myself answering the questions and learned more about myself. The simplest questions could be the most provocative.

One of my favorite singers, Tori Amos, sings at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee. She dedicates "Upside Down" to Earth and the devastation in the gulf. Tori's music possesses an incredible power to heal. We all need some healing sometimes.

Alex Wong danced emotionally and beautifully with Allison Holker to Jeff Buckley's "Hallelujah" on "So You Think You Can Dance" last night. Choreographed by Sonya Tayeh, the piece was about salvation, finding peace in oneself and the world. With incredible technique and artistry, Alex Wong delivered a moving piece, characterized by pain and struggle, that stunned the judges, audience, and viewers. It was pure poetry in motion.
