Citizens with guns are to be feared, especially by those in power. They have the means to put up a fight and cause damage. It through guns, imprisonment and threat of death that the state control its citizens. It is no surprise that there's this constant struggle between those who want to arm and protect themselves and those who want to advocate and practice gun control. It comes down to a struggle for power. Those in power don't want to give up any.

For one woman, all she needed was her bible and gun to feel safe. After Katrina, many gun owners had their guns taken, stolen, from them by the police. How are they suppose to defend themselves? They feel like they have no rights. They were treated them like criminals. The police didn't have control over the city so they needed to take guns away from citizens, perhaps out of fear. Hear from victims of gun confiscation how the police took their guns, and how their rights were violated by people who are suppose to protect them.
